Medicated Fish Food
Before feeding the medicated fish food give your koi and pond fish a day off their regular food to build appetite
so they are hungry.
Gut fill of medicated fish food
It's important that all the koi fish get a full belly of the medicated fish food. Throwing in a quarter pound of medicated fish food to a koi pond chock full of thirty inch pond fish is ridiculous. The pond fish should eat medicated fish food once or twice per day until full for 14 days.
Spot feeding
For best results, you could attract your pond fish to the side of the koi pond and throw them small amounts of medicated food being careful to get the food directly to the pond fish which needs it.
- Medicated fish food 2x daily
- I'd feed all your koi or pond fish all they will eat twice a day for 14 days. Make sure they eat all the mediated fish food, with none left on the bottom of your koi pond. No other food.
- Full koi are hard to kill
- When your koi and pond fish are eating it's a good sign
